Road works, level crossings and tramways•Rule 304
Watch for Pedestrians Near Trams
Look out for pedestrians, especially children, running to catch a tram approaching a stop.
💡Example
This rule means you must be extra careful around tram stops, as people—especially children—might suddenly run across the road to catch an approaching tram. For example, when driving past a busy city tram stop after school, slow down and be ready to brake in case a child dashes out from behind a shelter to reach the tram in time.
