Crossing During Traffic Congestion

When the road is congested, traffic on your side of the road may be forced to stop even though their lights are green. Traffic may still be moving on the other side of the road, so press the button and wait for the signal to cross.

💡Example

Even if the traffic lights are green, congestion might stop vehicles on your side while traffic on the other side moves. For instance, if you're at a busy crossing and cars are at a standstill due to congestion, press the pedestrian button and wait for the crossing signal before proceeding.
