Crossing Signals for Blind Pedestrians

At some crossings there is a bleeping sound or voice signal to indicate to blind or partially sighted people when the steady green figure is showing, and there may be a tactile signal to help deafblind people.

💡Example

Some crossings have audio or tactile signals to assist blind or partially sighted people. For instance, at a busy city junction, you might hear a bleeping sound when the green figure is shown, indicating it's safe to cross, or feel a vibrating panel for those who are deafblind.
