Using the road•Rule 193
Hidden Pedestrians at Crossings
You should take extra care where the view of either side of the crossing is blocked by queuing traffic or incorrectly parked vehicles. Pedestrians may be crossing between stationary vehicles.
💡Example
You should be especially careful at crossings when your view is blocked by queuing traffic or badly parked vehicles, as pedestrians may be crossing where you cannot easily see them. For example, if you are driving past a line of stationary cars near a zebra crossing, slow right down and be prepared to stop, as someone might step out from between the parked or queuing vehicles.
