Waiting and parking•Rule 242
Do Not Obstruct the Road
This rule is a legal requirement
You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road.
💡Example
You must not park or leave your vehicle where it could be dangerous or block other road users unnecessarily. For example, you must not stop your car on a blind bend or leave a trailer partly across a narrow lane so drivers have to swerve into oncoming traffic to get past.
