Avoid Dangerous Overtaking Situations
DO NOT overtake where you might come into conflict with other road users. For example

Do not overtake if there’s any chance you could clash with oncoming traffic or other road users, such as at junctions, bends or where visibility is poor. For example, if you are behind a slow-moving car on a bendy country road and you cannot clearly see far enough ahead, you must stay behind rather than pulling out to pass and risking a head-on collision.
