Only Overtake When You Can See
DO NOT overtake if there is any doubt, or where you cannot see far enough ahead to be sure it is safe. For example, when you are approaching

You must not overtake if you are unsure it’s safe or cannot see far enough ahead to check the road is clear. For example, if you are driving behind a slow lorry on a country road that bends ahead and you can’t see oncoming traffic, you must stay behind and wait until you reach a straight, clear stretch of road before considering overtaking.
