Rules for Cycle Lane Use

This rule is a legal requirement
Cycle lanes. These are shown by road markings and signs. You MUST NOT drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a solid white line during its times of operation. Do not drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a broken white line unless it is unavoidable. You MUST NOT park in any cycle lane whilst waiting restrictions apply.

Do not drive or park in cycle lanes with a solid white line during their operational hours. For example, if you are driving on a road with a solid white line cycle lane between 7 AM and 7 PM, you must not enter the lane during these times, even to park temporarily.
