Rules of the RoadDifficulty: 2/5
You are driving on a motorway and see overhead signs with amber flashing lights showing the word 'FOG' and a lower temporary speed limit. What should you do?
Explanation
According to Highway Code Rule 257, amber flashing lights on motorway signals warn of a hazard ahead and may show a temporary speed limit or a message such as 'Fog'. You must adjust your speed, follow the displayed limit and look out for danger until you pass a signal that is not flashing or gives the 'All clear' sign and you are sure it is safe to increase your speed.
