Rules for pedestrians•Rule 9
Cross Safely at Designated Gaps
Pedestrian Safety Barriers. Where there are barriers, cross the road only at the gaps provided for pedestrians. Do not climb over the barriers or walk between them and the road.
💡Example
Always use the designated gaps in pedestrian safety barriers to cross the road safely. For instance, if you are walking along a busy street with metal barriers, wait until you reach a clear opening to cross, instead of climbing over or squeezing through the barriers.
