Rules for cyclists•Rule 81
Cyclists: Crossing Rules Explained
Do not ride across equestrian crossings, as they are for horse riders only. Do not ride across a pelican, puffin or zebra crossing. Dismount and wheel your cycle across.
💡Example
Cyclists should not ride across crossings meant for pedestrians or horse riders; instead, they should walk their bikes across. For example, if you're cycling and approach a zebra crossing, you should dismount and walk your bicycle across to ensure safety and compliance with the rules.
