Rules for cyclists•Rule 80
Cyclists: Give Space to Long Vehicles
Give plenty of room to long vehicles on the roundabout as they need more space to manoeuvre. Do not ride in the space they need to get round the roundabout. It may be safer to wait until they have cleared the roundabout.
💡Example
When cycling on a roundabout, keep a safe distance from long vehicles as they need extra room to turn. For instance, if you're approaching a roundabout and see a lorry indicating to exit, stay back and let it complete its manoeuvre before you proceed to ensure your safety.
