Rules for users of powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters•Rule 37
Rules for Mobility Scooter Use
When you are on the road you should obey the guidance and rules for other vehicles; when on the pavement you should follow the guidance and rules for pedestrians.
💡Example
When using a mobility scooter, follow vehicle rules on the road and pedestrian rules on the pavement. For example, if you're riding your scooter on the road, obey traffic lights and signs like any other vehicle. On the pavement, give way to pedestrians and avoid blocking their path.
