Cyclists Obeying Red Traffic Lights

This rule is a legal requirement
At traffic light junctions and at cycle-only crossings with traffic lights, you MUST NOT cross the stop line when the traffic lights are red.

💡Example

Cyclists must stop at red traffic lights and not cross the stop line. For example, if you're cycling and approach a red light at a junction, you must wait behind the stop line until the light turns green before continuing.
