Rules about animals•Rule 53
Signalling When Riding with Animals
Before riding off or turning, look behind you to make sure it is safe, then give a clear arm signal.
💡Example
Before you start riding or make a turn with your animal, check behind you to ensure it's safe and signal clearly with your arm. For example, if you're riding a horse on a country lane and intend to turn right, look behind to check for vehicles, then extend your right arm to indicate your direction.
