Safety for Horse-Drawn Vehicles

This rule is a legal requirement
Safety equipment and clothing. All horse-drawn vehicles should have two red rear reflectors. It is safer not to drive at night but if you do, a light showing white to the front and red to the rear MUST be fitted.

💡Example

Horse-drawn vehicles must have two red rear reflectors and should ideally not be driven at night. If you must drive at night, ensure the vehicle has a white light at the front and a red light at the rear. For instance, if you're taking a horse-drawn carriage for a late evening event, check that it has the required lights and reflectors to ensure visibility and safety on the road.
