Rules for pedestrians•Rule 12
Crossing Bus and Cycle Lanes Safely
Bus and cycle lanes. Take care when crossing these lanes as traffic may be moving faster than in the other lanes, or against the flow of traffic.
💡Example
Always be cautious when crossing bus and cycle lanes, as vehicles may be moving faster or in the opposite direction compared to other lanes. For instance, when crossing a busy street, remember that a bus in the bus lane might approach quicker than cars in adjacent lanes, or a cyclist might be coming from the opposite direction, so always double-check before crossing.
