Obey Authorised Persons' Traffic Signals
This rule is a legal requirement
You MUST obey signals given by police officers, traffic officers, traffic wardens (see ‘Signals by authorised persons‘) and signs used by school crossing patrols.
💡Example
You must follow instructions from police officers, traffic officers, and other authorised personnel when driving. For example, if a school crossing patrol holds up a stop sign for children to cross, you must stop your vehicle until the sign is lowered and it is safe to proceed.
