No Driving on Pavements or Paths

This rule is a legal requirement
You MUST NOT drive on or over a pavement, footpath or bridleway except to gain lawful access to property, or in the case of an emergency.

💡Example

You must not drive on pavements, footpaths or bridleways, unless you are using them briefly to reach a driveway or in an emergency. For example, you must not drive along the pavement to skip a traffic queue, but you may briefly cross the pavement to enter your home’s driveway or if instructed by emergency services in an incident.
