Rules for drivers and motorcyclists•Rule 101
Avoid Rear-Facing Seats with Airbags
This rule is a legal requirement
A rear-facing baby seat MUST NOT be fitted into a seat protected by an active frontal airbag, as in a crash it can cause serious injury or death to the child.
💡Example
Never place a rear-facing baby seat in front of an active airbag, as it can seriously harm the child during a crash. For instance, if you install a rear-facing baby seat in the front passenger seat of your car, ensure the airbag is deactivated to keep the child safe.
